On this auction is a super Shirley Temple antique doll. The big 25" Ideal composition Shirley Temple doll is hard to find in any kind of condition and even more so in this good condition. She comes to you as you see in the many photos. Shirley is marked on the back of her head and on her back. She has the 25 mark which designates her as a 25" doll, Ideal and Shirley Temple. Her compo is in good to very good vintage condition. As you can see from the photos, she has a few cracks on her arm and her torso that someone did a quick repair on. The bad is that it wasn't done great, but the good which in my mind outweighs the bad, is that it stopped any further damage until it can be done correctly. I believe they painted the feet too. Otherwise, she is in good condition. Her stringing looks new and she can stand and hold a pose. I personally would like her to be just a bit tighter, but I wouldn't restring her. She has had her hair washed and styled. It is the original mohair wig and is soft (no hair products in it) and curly. You can do more "Shirley curls" if you wish, or it's fine the way it is. Her eyes are glazed. She is redressed in an adorable twin outfit of a sunsuit under a pink dress that is appropriate for her. Not original clothing. Has great newer lacy socks and shoes.
