1930's VINTAGE REPLICA HELMET REAL LEATHER! FULL SIZE!! NOT MINIATURE!! (LOOK AT RULER IN PICS!) This style helmet was worn players in the 30's from Princeton, yale, MI state, MI, and the list goes on and on, and ON...the winged helmet came into play when Herbert O. "FRITZ" Crisler, for whome is largely given credit, although the debate goes on, w hen he wanted quarterbacks to differentiate their players from the other teams during mud filled, rainy, snowy, blizzard type conditions. So, he decided helmets would be the best way to make this possible, and as legend has it, thus was the winged helmet in play. The helmet is made with the exact same stitching, size, leather, color, everything. Each helmet is unique, every piece of leather is unique, no two are alike, and there may be slight variations from one helmet to the next as each is indeed one of a kind! THESE ARE VERY, VERY, VERY RARE!!! Stand and ruler are NOT included, that is for display only. GOOD LUCK BIDDING!!!!
