Here's a remarkable vintage Tyndalloscope, made by Leitz of Wetzlar Germany (yes, the Leica people) in the 1920's-1930's, for measuring the concentration and size of particulate matter in the air. It's untested, but it's antique after all, and I have no idea what batteries it would require or even how to use it. However, it appears to be in generally excellent condition for such an ancient relic, 100% complete and intact from what I can see, I'm aware they're extremely difficult to find today, and it even comes with its superb original leather case. Wow! A rare, valuable, and very desirable classic scientific instrument from the earlier part of the 20th century! This is just one of many interesting Leitz pieces I'm listing tonight, so if you're looking for more you can go HERE to see all my current eBay auctions. Postage is free to anywhere in the United States, but international buyers PLEASE NOTE will be required to pay the actual cost of shipping this 6 pound 4 ounce VERY HEAVY package to their location by USPS Priority Mail. Yes, if you buy multiple items, when applicable I will bundle them to reduce your total shipping cost. Guaranteed to be as described, and if for some honest and understandable reason you're not satisfied with the purchase, send it back within 14 days for a full refund, in accordance with eBay's guidelines. read more
