Louise Nevelson Signed Female Nude Figure Ink Drawing, 1930's. In this drawing Louise presents a strong female image through which we can get a glimpse of her own commanding persona. Louise was a close friend of my grandmother's, so I happen to have a few unquestionably authentic pieces of hers. This early ink drawing on heavy drawing paper measures about 9.125" x 16.125". It is in excellent, original condition, neither damaged nor repaired, and mounted (at it's corners) on a larger backing sheet and matte which fits into a 15.875" x 23.25" silver colored "Kulicke" frame with protective plexi sheet instead of glass. I believe the framing was done by Louise's people in the 1960's. The silk covered matte has some discoloration at the lower right, the actual art is unaffected. You'll probably reframe (or rematte) this investment grade piece anyway. Free FedEx overnight shipping within the Continental US.
