I have up for sale a vintage original Masonic Temple jewel/medal. I have limited knowledge in regards to Masonic items and do not know if the 38 indicates the year 1938 or some other reference. I do know that medal would date to somew in this time period regardless. It is in Excellent Original Condition - looks great - no damages and any wear minimal. It has beautiful enameled cloisonne workings. The ribbon that connects the 2 pieces is black - some slight wear but overall excellent as well. The backside of the medal has printed in raised letters "The H.A. Co Kalamazoo,Mich. I have lots of pics for your viewing pleasure. One of my pics shows the medal next to a ruler for size. I can either package this bubblewrapped and then enveloped or sent in a box.
