Up for auction is this nice, scarce Moore Fountain Pen in black plastic with Gold Filled Trim. Small sized nib is engraved "Warranted 14K No 4". The GF clip is engraved "MOORE" with overlapping o's and layered edges in Art Deco Style. Clip shows a bit of bending which should be able to be straightened. It is complete and all original, but appears to not have a sac in place as the lever moves easily. Not tested. The filling lever appears to be gold filled as well. Nib appears fine to me and not broken. Two GF bands show some plating wear. I have placed a 6" scale beside the pen in the photographs.

This pen was apparently made and used at the Jordan Marsh Company (a famous Boston Department Store) as the barrel is engraved in block letters "JORDAN MARSH COMPANY"

Condition is Very Good with no cracks or significant scratches. Cap screws on well with no cracks. This pen has been used, and exhibits normal wear from its use and nearly 70+ year age.

Overall, a good example of the Art Deco style from the 30's. Impressive and attractive pen that is from an early (Began 1899) quality Boston pen company, more well known for their "Safety" pens. A great clip in Art Deco Style. If you like Art Deco, as I do, this will be your pen!

Has been sitting in my collection for 20+ years, it needs a new owner!
