Fabulous 1930s art deco Telechron bakelite direct read digital clock in fabulous condition. It works and keeps time, quietly. The two-toned (black top, brown base) bakelite case (tests positive for bakelite) looks perfect--no cracks, breaks, chips, gouges, scratches--perfect. The four feet on the bottom have original felt (OK, one foot has a little bit of surface worn on the felt, but this is real nitpicking). The cord is excellent. 8 inches long by 3 7/8 inches wide at the base and 3 3/4 inches tall. The only thing that makes this piece near-mint is that a few of the digits in the minute window are missing some of their surface--the 5, 6, and 8 are missing just a touch, and the 7 is missing about half. Otherwise, this rare clock is mint, looking just about new and screaming deco.
