1930s Tremo Recognition Identification Tabletop 1/1200 Scale Waterline Metal Models. Tremo 1930s. Italian Cruiser Armando Diaz Italian Navy Cruiser Armando Diaz. "Condottieri" Class, Second (B) Group Light Cruiser (Cadorna) (2). A cast metal and painted model manufactured in the late 1930s by Tremo (Treforest Mouldings Ltd, Treforest Trading Estate, Pontypridd, South Wales, United Kingdom). The Company logo moulded into the underneath of the model is an "M" crossed by a "T". Scale 1/1200 (one inch equals one hundred feet). Length of model 5.4" inches. Main Turrets rotate. For the period, this is a very accurate tabletop recognition model depicting the appearance of this Warship in the late 1930s. The original catalogue price was 2/6d (Two shillings and six pence). Condition: Gloss Grey & Matt Tan enamel paint. Very fine original condition paintwork. Only very minor wear. One wire cross mast missing but two still in place. Two repacement secondary gun turrets are supplied (unpainted in white metal). All other details are complete and undamaged. Generally a superb example of a very rare italian Cruiser.
