1930'S VENETIAN ALEXANDRITE OPALINO ORMOLU POWDER JAR Measures: 5 3/4" TALL, 4 3/4 DIAMETER Description: This auction is for a large, extraordinary alexandrite powder jar. The color is pinkish purple in incandescent light and bluish green in flourescent light...see photos. The finial and the ormolu rim are in mint condition. I have been collecting for over twenty five years. Over the past few months I have acquired a large collection of over 3000 pieces. Many of these pieces came from mom and pop antique stores. Condi tion: Mint condition !! No damage including chips, cracks, repairs or impact marks. A flaw is a defect, visible mark or inclusion in the glass, from the factory, and includes air bubbles, straw lines, unevenness, and variations in color. Damage is a chip, crack, impact mark, scratch, or repair. Shipping: Weight is 2.4 pounds.
