1930's VINTAGE MEXICAN STERLING ETRUSCAN BRACELET Bold & Beautiful ~ Marked ~ Dramatic Elegance FREE DOMESTIC USPS PRIORITY SHIPPING WITH FULL INSURANCE AND DELIVERY CONFIRMATION! HAPPY VALENTINE'S DAY!!! DESCRIPTION: This is an EXTRAORDINARY sterling silver bracelet that was hand wrought in Mexico, circa 1930's to mid 1940's. It is masterfully crafted in a bold and beautiful etruscan style motif. This bracelet consists of sculptural sterling silver links that have stylized silver flowers represented by silver domes with petals and a silver bead on top ~ the flowers are surrounded with decorative scalloped borders with silver bead accents. The links are connected with soldered silver jump rings. The silver has acquired a wonderful, soft patina that reflects the shadows created by the depth of the designs. The clasp is a simple hook closure that is seen on much of the early Mexican jewelry. This bracelet is e xtremely well made in a artisitic and sophisticated design ~ an art-to-wear treasure that will be one of your all-time favorites ~ it is bold and beautiful and makes quite a statement when worn ~ a very early piece that is heirloom quality, it would be a grand asset to any vintage Mexican silver collection. CONDITION : Excellent vintage condition ~ no dents or dings to the silver ~ minor surface scratches to silver due to normal wear and age (and actually desirable on vintage jewelry!) ~ no damage noted ~ just about PERFECT used condition! HALLMARKS : Simply hallmarked "MEXICO, SILVER" as much of the very early Mexican jewelry was marked. This bracelet is at least sterling silver 925 but is most likely a higher grade of silver since much of the early silver was made of 940 to 980 silver because it was easier to work with and didn't tarnish as quickly as sterling.
