This girl herds cows, hauls hay, goes to school, gets her hair done, does housework, sews, goes out with her friends, goes to church, shops, and flirts with the boys. You name it and this girl pretty much does it!This is her senior year in high school,so she talks alot about the football games, studying, getting her class ring, dances, etc. She mentions seeing a zeppelin, about her father being concerned about a bank in town closing. She talks about her family, getting mad at her mother and not talking to her for several days. She mentions the Lindeburgh baby being kidnapped by saying,"Lindy's baby was kidnapped last night,$50,000 ransom asked,$35,000 offered."She has her eighteenth birthday in this diary, and says her mother was making her a quilt as a gift. The diary is written in pen mostly,in a Royal Note Book.It begins July 1st 1931,and ends on April,8,1932.Even though it is not a full, year the book is FULL OF ENTRIES,from top to bottom on both sides of the pages.I found it easy to read, and in very good shape, with no tears, and I did not detect any odors to the book.It measures about 7" x 4".There is alot more to read in this diary,I only gave you a small example of what it contains.I think she is in Iowa, because of one of the addresses on the inside cover, and because of the rural area it seems to be in,so I'm not positive thats where its from.I
