Original Prescription For Medicinal Liquor, This is so far out t! An original (with pink duplicate) unused prescription for booze during the Prohibition. Issued under the authority of the National Prohibition Act. From the Treasury Department, Bureau of Industrial Alcohol, Form 1403, February 1931. On the front the Dr. was to fill in the kind of liquor, the quantity, directions for taking(?!), patient name and address, same info for Dr. Then the drug store would fill in its name, the dispenser, date and stamp. T are complete instructions on the back. This was the only way to legally get liquor during the Prohibition, which ended in 1933. What a great gift for a bar/club owner or friend with a home bar!
