This is a 1931 Chevrolet Accessory Stone Guard emblem. This sale is for the used emblem ONLY as shown in the First photo...Nothing else shown in the photos. ...they are for educational purposes only....NO Backing Plate, No Stone Guard, No Car. This emblem is different than the same looking emblem that went on the radiator from 1929-1931. The stone guard emblem is slightly curved from side to side, and also top to bottom. The mounting on the back is quite different as well, as there is a stainless steel four-prong attachment, designed to detach the emblem, and snap back in place into the larger lower position of the stone guard plate. The upper smaller depression is a guide on the backing/mounting plate. The emblem and the depression area would hold water, and thus the stamped steel rear emblem mount would rust. Only a NOS emblem would not be rusted. History: Chevrolet first offered the stone guard for the 1931 Chevrolet, but through the years many were placed on the 1929, and 1930 models as well. Emblem Condition: Use the photo magnifier on the emblem to see the scratches, as they represent the actual condition. There is No glass loss. WE SHIP ONLY WITHIN THE USA ( 50 STATES )!
