This auction features the 1931 Boy with Dog NORMAN ROCKWELL Coca Cola serving tray. Argueably the most popular tray ever produce by Coca Cola. And t just isn't a whole lot wrong with this tray. Starting with the back of the tray, a little scuffing and discoloring but generally OK with plenty of shine left. Looking at the surrounding gold rim you will find a few spots and blemishes and some tics but no major areas of chipping or scraping etc. The red inside surrounding rim is nearly blemish free with the exception of a few tiny pinpoint tics that are pretty much invisible in the six pictures I have provided. Pardon a bit of glare in some of the pictures. It may appear as a haze but I assure you it is not t One picture I did take to demonstrate the amount of shine the tray exhibits. The face of the tray is generally very nice with a few not so noticeable scrapes. Overall this tray is very colorful and has no dents, rust, holes, warping, fading of color or repairs that I can see. This tray very comfortably fits into Alan Petretti's Excellent grade of 8-8.5. I will let you make any determinations of grade beyond that and thus t should be no surprises waiting for you if you purchase the tray.
