1931 Old Oregon Trail Guide Book Up for auction is a 1931 Oregon Trail & Columbia River Highway guide book. This 30 page booklet covers in detail, with strip maps and tourist information, the western states on the trail (mostly Wyoming, Idaho, and Oregon). The Old Oregon Trail was dedicated by President Harding in 1923 and it seems to follow Federal Highway 30, the Old Lincoln Highway, in Wyoming, but then heads north into Idaho and Oregon. The booklet is in only fair shape. The cover is dirty and it has detached from the rest of the booklet. The staples have left some rust marks. But, the inside is reasonable clean and intact. All of the maps and route information (town descriptions, hotels, etc.) are very readable and clean. Thank you for looking. Please email me with any questions.
