Appraised and authenticated, though I can't put my hand on my copy at the moment. Will continue the search in my disorganized library. Of course you will want to read for yourself, but if memory serves correctly, I am sure this is a second printing woodblock from the original stamp/block, and it was produced in 1932. Again, I am going by memory here, and if you read Japanese, this information is provided on the print. If you are unsure (like myself) please have your own verification done before purchasing. Date (original issuing): 1931Date (this particular edition): 1932, early lifetime edition with Watanabe 6mm sealMedium: Original Japanese Woodblock on high quality mulberry paper Color: Multiple printed colors Dimension: image (24.2 x 36.4 cm or 9 1/2 x 14 3/8 inch), paper (26.8 x 40 cm or 10 1/2 x 15 3/4 inch) Credits: Kawase Hasui (original artist), Watanabe (Publisher) Special Attributes: Artist block signed [as 巴水 Hasui] at bottom right, titled [as translated above] and dated [as 昭和六年作 or created in 1931] on left margin with the near square shaped Watanabe 6mm seal at bottom right corner.This beautiful Hasui Woodblock print is in very good condition [i.e., clear and clean image, strong and bright paper, vivid colors, nice full margins (with deckle edge at top and left), slight but even age toning].
