This auction is for an antique Christmas collector plate, titled: MOTHER & CHILD, and marked on the back: ROYAL COPENHAGEN - with the wavy lines logo. Marked on the front: JULEN - 1931 - Julen is the term for Danish Christmas. This cobalt blue collector plate by artist Gotfred Rode is 1st quality and in excellent, mint/near mint condition with no chips, cracks, fleabites, hairlines, stains or damages. The pictures with white reflecting light shows the glossy clear coat finish revealing no scuffs but with real close examination you can find just a few hard to notice, tiny and very minor superficial scratches.
