Acquired from an estate and selling with no reserve. This listing is for an 8X10 Black & White Photograph of Driver, Cliff Bergere and Mechanic, sitting behind the wheel of race car #22 "Studebaker Special", at Indianapolis Motor Speedway 1932?. Cliff Bergere (1896 - 1980). He had 16 starts in the Indianapolis 500 from 1927, '28- '29, 1931 - 1941, 1946 and 1947, with career best finishes of 3rd place in 1932 and 1939. In 16 starts he had 1 Pole start, Front Row 3 starts, 0 Wins, 4 Top Five Finishes, 8 Top Ten Finishes. He entered to cars in the 500 with the number 32, I believe this is the 1932 entry and the other was in 1934. Photographers imprint lower right corner 33321? Kirkpatrick 619 W. Wash. St. Indpls. The back is stamped Credit Line Photo By F.M. Kirkpatrick. There is whiting out on the front just below the car with some lines to the right, from the photographer for press release. The back has old glue and a "c" in a circle, probably for same reason. These press photo's come from the estate of an actual employee who worked at the Indianapolis Speedway. The photo is clear and crisp, no stains, edges have very minor bumps, it has a slight curling. See photo's, email with any questions. Shipping is usps priority. We will combine shipping.
