This is a TWA sales brochure when it was named Transcontinental & Western Air, Inc , and also called itself the Lindbergh Line. The airline, now in its 6th year and proud to be associated with the Pennsylvania Railroad, had carried more than 200,000 passengers. This is a n incredible brochure, picturing Charles Lindbergh and many vintage photos and exciting narrative. Flight schedules and pricing reads like a railroad timetable... and, in fact, you could purchase your tickets at a railroad depot or at a Greyhound Station.
This is obviously a sales brochure, and the narrative and photos are designed to lure the motoring and rail public into the open skies. Folded, the brochure measures 9" x 4". Opened fully, it measures 9" x 24".
The brochure is in excellent condition This is a must-Have for all Aviation buffs!
