This auction is for a 1932 Wellesley College collectible plate of HETTY H. R. GREEN HALL in blue on cream, manufactured by Wedgwood. The border has panels of a basket weave design with oak leaves, acorns and the college emblem as shown. Markings include incised "Wedgwood Made In England and the blue Wedgwood Eturia England mark and the round blue Jones Mc Duffee & Stratton Co. Boston Sole Importers mark with the lion trade mark. Plate measures 10 5/8" in diameter, has no chips, cracks, nor repairs. T is typical fine line crazing on reverse.
