Welcome... You are bidding on a reproduction from the 70,s ? we were told of a Joe Mora poster from 1933 ! It has no tears or wrinkles or creases however it was mounted years ago to a 1/8 thick piece of board. I have no idea if it can be removed. It displays great and with the right frame would be very nice for handing. This poster is known as THE SALINAS RODEO POSTER or is sometimes referred to as THE SWEETHEART OF THE RODEO POSTER because of the rodeo queen picture at the top center. Great detail of cowboy history and life including bits, spurs, saddles and rodeo. Joseph Jacinto "JO" Mora born OCT 22,1876 Died OCT 10 1947. He studied in NY then worked for Boston newspapers as a cartoonist. He was a man of many other talents like artist-historian,sculptor,painter,photographer,illustrator, muralist and author. Later in his life about the time he made this poster he became quite a renowned artist. Lucky winning bidder to pay actual shipping + $1.00 packing/handling.
