is a Restored 1933 Metalcraft Standard Oil Truck, about 12 1/4 inches long. While the paint job on this is not exactly professional, it is still reasonably good. It appears to have bean carefully done too, obviously bead blasted and primed. I took some polish to parts of it and it held up well. This has a quality replacement grill from , with original style working, replacement lights, custom made by Ray at . They will light much better with new batteries, (2 D-Cells) Everything else is original on this. As you can see in the pics, t he top tab which holds down the bed is broken, but the bed is still very secure and the truck still really does display beautifully. I am selling it at No Reserve and a very low starting price, which doesn't nearly cover my investment. I guarantee you will be happy with this and want to display it prominently. Look at my feedback and listing and you'll see that I mean it.
Shipping, etc... I'm like you: I hate paying excessive shipping and B.S. Handling Fees! Methods: I will combine as much as possible and try to give you enough choices. Priority Mail is my default shipping option, always with Insurance and Delivery Confirmation. I can often ship about 1 to 3 small items in a small box for less than what I state in my Shipping details. On larger items, often times I will use the Parcel Post option to give you a less expensive alternative. If you wish to save money it’s OK but , please be advised, that if you choose Parcel Post, it could well take three weeks. It is a ground transportation that can experience delays now and then and that’s why it costs less. So please don’t send me angry emails asking w your package is if that is the method you chose. Once I take it to the Post office, it’s pretty much out of my hands, though I can, more or less, track it. Combining: If you buy several larger items from me and I can pack them all in a FLAT RATE box, I will simply charge the flat fee--not add more for the extra items. If I have to move to a large box, I will pack as much as possible into it and only charge whatever extra costs I incur. Remind me at checkout if you need items combined. I don’t want you to pay more than necessary to get it delivered to you promptly, so if I can save you money, I will. And if you have better suggestions, let me know, but I won't send without insurance and confirmation. International shipping calculated at checkout: Wait for invoice. California buyer pays all local taxes: Wait for invoice Handling Fees: Please understand that all the packing supplies do cost money but I don't profit from shipping charges! I certainly don’t like it when others over-charge me. I pack things well to make sure they arrive in the same condition you saw them advertised. If I charge a nominal handling fee, it’s only to help defray the costs of extra materials and not as an extra means of profit. On smaller items, I include an extra $2 to 3.00 which may or may not cover Insurance. If I’m lucky I’ll be left with a few cents to help cover packing supplies--of which I use plenty! On larger items it takes a lot more packing material and I try to cover it incrementally. PAYMENTS: Immediate payment is required! If eBay now feels inclined to force PayPal on me as the only payment alternative, then they have forfeited their right to tell me how long I must wait to get paid. I reserve the right to re-list without further notice if I have not heard from you after the first day. Please respond to my invoice immediately, if only to tell me when and how you will be paying.
