Hello all!! 2007 is going to be an incredible year for auctions!! It will be a fantastic summer of cast iron collecting this year! SOME OF MY EMAIL LIST WAS ACCIDENTALLY DELETED, IF YOU WERE ON THE LIST AND ARE OFF NOW, PLEASE EMAIL ME YOUR ADDRESS IF YOU WANT AUCTION NOTIFICATIONS! If you are not on my email list yet, I suggest you get on it, you don't want to miss out!! (Details below) T ARE 22 MORE ITEMS UP FOR SALE IN THIS AUCTION. I have banks ranging in age from 1880's to the 1950's. I generally collect but I have been having fun with these auctions so I'm picking up "extras" when I find them now & offering them to all you collectors out t on Ebay. I hit all the garage & estate sales, flea markets, antique shows & some Ebay treasures!!!! I have banks manufactured by all the major manufacturers. I also have branched out into some of my other cast iron interests, mainly doorstops & paperweights but I have some unexpected surprises as well. Always no reserve and starting at $.99 because I feel the quality the items will speak for themselves and get a fair price. I regularly have auctions, generally twice a month in the winter months. My next auction will start Sunday May 24th and end on Sunday June 3rd. If you would like, send me your email & I will add you to the list & notify you when I have an auction. I ONLY us this info to send you info on my Ebay auctions, absolutely nothing else.
You are bidding on a1933 Worlds Fair bull dog cast iron paperweight pencil holder. These little gems were produced for the Chicago 1933 worlds fair. It is missing its tag that reads "1933 Chicago a century of progress". They came in white, green, blue (possibly yellow) and as well as the red one for sale I just found one in GOLD that I didn't know existed!! I have one of each so I know this little guy is authentic, the mutt just lost his tags and is looking for a good new home! The paperweight pencil holder is in great shape! Has a hole through it's mouth to hold your pencil as well as your papers! Hand painted mouth, eyes and ears. It's in NEAR MINT condition with no cracks, chips, breaks, repairs or damage of any kind. The surface finish is 100% original - it has never been restored, repainted, touched up or altered in any way. 1 3/4" high x 1 3/4" wide. I suggest to the winner to print a copy of this auction, it will increase the resale value of your purchase tremendously having this information as a hard copy along with the bank. You are paying for this information, make use of it! Plus it's fun to look back in 20 years and say I only paid $200 for that way back when. Most of the banks today selling for $200-$400 were $15-$50 in the mid 1970's, big money when the reference guides I have were printed. Please ask any and all questions before auction ends. No refunds for buyer's remorse. Items are photographed and described accurately. YOU MUST CONTACT ME WITH IN THREE DAY'S OF AUCTION END OR I RESERVE THE RIGHT TO CANCEL THE AUCTION & RELIST. I WILL LEAVE NEGATIVE FEED BACK. DON'T BID IF YOU ARE NOT GOING TO PAY FOR THE AUCTION. I HAVE HAD QUITE A FEW NON-PAYING BIDDERS, PLEASE DON'T BE ONE!!! Payment due in 10 days. International rates are extended. Shipped via USPS priority without insurance unless requested. Seller assumes no responsibility for a lost or damaged package. FYI: I always go to the USPS to mail the items so I always have a receipt/ proof that the items were mailed (don't purchase insurance if you simply want proof of mailing, I will have it) Bidder pays shipping. International, including Canada , email for air or surface quote. Payment by money order, PayPal, ebay payments, check. I cheerfully combine items to reduce shipping. By placing a bid you agree to these terms. I have an email list that I send to people interested in my monthly auctions. If you would like to be on it send me your address. I only use this for ebay auctions. PERIOD! Mechanical Bank Still Bank Registering Bank Money Box
