Adorable 22" composition Shirley Temple with new Kemper Shirley Temple wig. We purchased this doll on ebay over a year ago. We don't know what year the clothing was made; the label in the overalls says "Shirley's Movie Wardrobe By Polly Kessler New Orleans". I googled this but did not get any results. The wig the doll was wearing was all mildewed and rotted away. I ordered her a new wig from Kemper and that is what she is currently wearing. She is very very pretty, but has a great deal of surface crackling. This does not deter from her charm. She is a 1st production run as can be shown by the marking on her back and head of the early ideal diamond and trademark. Please review the photos carefully and ask any pertinent questions. This is a very old antique doll, and a very rare doll. We now have a baker's dozen of Shirleys and need to sell a couple to make room. Thank you for looking.
