Relisted due to yet another Non Paying Bidder ... Please, if you're bidding on this item .. understand that it is heavy and will be expensive to ship .. especially if you are located out of the United States.Circa 1934 or 35 .. EH Scott All Wave 23 power supply / amplifier section .. restored and working [the tubes are not included but the unit does indeed work]. These were mounted in the lower section of Scott cabinets and supplied power to the main chassis .. as well as providing the audio frequency amplifier section of the radio. The unit uses four 2A3 triodes in the amplifier section as well as a 5Z3 and a 5U4 rectifier tubes in the power supply.Tubes shown are included .. however .. one of the 2A3's has a dead filament and the other is very weak ... figure it will require a complete set of replacement tubes. I have not personaly checked the set operationally but purchased it as a working/restored unit. The previous owner has done a very neat job of installing modern replacement electrolytic caps while retaining the disconnected cans above the chassis to preserve the original appearance. Terminal strips have been added under the chassis to provide solder points for the replacement caps as well as a new power cord.The chrome finish on the chassis is pitted but intact.
