1934 Startling Detective Adventures Pulp Fiction Magazine Baby Face Nelson "The Truth from Police Records" and a magazine of the crimes of the time. Inside you will find an article on "Baby Face" Nelson's career as well as the column "Poems from Prison" by San Quinton inmates. It was published during the NRA (National Recovery Act) year of 1934. The cover is vibrant in color but shows it age - there are several creases on right corner. There is some staple impressions on cover. The corners and edges are worn. The staples have rusted. The cover is still attached as well as all the pages. The back cover has some soil. The last page has a stain. The pages have yellowed but are still supple enough to read. There are 74 pages. This is a pretty great example of a rare pulp that is 82 years old!QUESTION: On 5/9/16 we were asked if there is any mention of "Bonnie and Clyde" in Frank Barrow article. ANSWER: Yes. There is a section called "Tracks Clyde Barrow" that runs for about two columns as well as a picture of their hideout in Louisiana and a diagram of Barrow s route and picture of car riddled with bullets. Also note in condition description I need to add small 1/2 tear on bottoms of page 24, 26 and 36.
