Offered is a solid example of the famed horror anthology, TERROR BY NIGHT , selected and arranged by Christine Campbell Thomson, and published by Selwyn & Blount in London. 252pp.Published in 1934, but no copyright date provided. Bound in blue cloth. In a different size and format than the other volumes in Thomson's famous "Not at Night" horror series, which collected many stories which first appeared in Weird Tales . The others appeared in red cloth and were slightly larger.This particular installment in the series contained the first book publication of Robert E. Howard's 7th Conan tale, "Rogues in the House," and also an H.P. Lovecraft ghost-written tale attributed to Hazel Heald entitled "The Horror in the Museum." Other stories in the collection by Flavia Richardson and August Derleth.Blue cloth is spotted, mainly on spine and rear cover, as pictured. Interior clean and hinges quite firm.
