This auction is for a vintage Vogue magazine dated December 15th, 1934. Features holiday, travel and resort fashions. Magazine shows some wear to the spine and light wear to the front and back cover. Inside pages look good. Ads feature Dorothy Gray lipstick, powders, make-up compacts,,,,Lucky Strike cigarettes,,,,,,,Jacqueline shoes,,,,,a Schiaparelli wool coat and Jay-Thorpe dress,,,,,,,2 page color spread with Carnival Designs of fancy dress by leading costume designers,,,,,a page featuring perfume bottles such as Millot/Crepe de chine & Guerlain & Helena Rubinstein & Lentheric & Weil/Bamboo & Jean Patou,,,,,a page with Devilbiss atomizers,,,,,, a page with Kodak camera's of the day,,,,,,a half page ad for Millot Crepe de Chine,,,,,Jay Thorpe ad for "of thee i sing",,,,,2 pages of Vogue fashions for cruising and so much more!!!! Also an ad for Spud cigarettes which I had never heard of. Ad says they have a way all their own of cooling the smoke...sifting out irritants... giving you dewy-fresh flavor.
