THE CONN SMYTHE TROPHY" The offered item is a rare dated April 15, 1935 Conn Smythe typed signed letter on Terrific Ornate And Very Rare Toronto Maple Leafs Hockey Team Stationary ... The letter is signed by his secretary but OBVIOUSLY DICTAT ED by Conn Smythe himself ... Terrific content as he is apologizing to a fan for losing the Stanley Cup, however he does admit that the boys did their best, but were not quite good enough ... Conn Smythe was the owner of the Toronto Maple Leafs from 1927 to 1961 and His name appears on the Stanley Cup Trophy Eleven Times ... He also has the prestigious team award trophy named after him for the most valuable team player. This terrific letter comes with it's original ornate envelope from Toronto and a great piece of true VINTAGE EARLY NHL HOCKEY HISTORY FROM ONE OF IT'S REAL TRUE DYNASTYS ...
