I purchased this coin at auction in April 6-8, 1978. The auction was conducted by Bowers and Ruddy Galleries, and the coin was item number 1808. The coin was from the Philip J. More Collection, and it was graded as mint state sixty-five in the auction catalog. You can see from the photos that the coin, even today, would still be graded at a very high grade. You decide. Good Luck in your bidding.
