A full page list of amounts received for her articles is shown in the Cash summary on the inside back cover. She records major world events as well as day to day events which obviously caught her attention. Each pair of pages covers one week and each page has a heading of a main topic such as Opening of Lindbergh trial; Death of Lawrence of Arabia; Floods in South England; Tragic train collision 14 killed; Public Execution of Bandit King; Germany's warning to Catholics; The Fall of Adowa Italy's Gas Attack etc. In addition a number of blank pages have been inserted which have manuscript plus newspaper illustrations, cartoons, etc.The scans show a range of items about read more
