This Linen-Like Walt Disney Book was published by Whitman Publishing in 1935 and is the rare first edition dedicated to Donald Duck. Between the years of 1935 & 1942 Whitman Publishing published for Walt Disney 21 different stories of the early Disney characters. The illustrations for each of the issues was done by the early Disney artists and truly reflect the creativity of the early Disney animation artists. This book is in great shape for it's age, there are signs of wear on both covers. The front cover shows signs of wear on the spine, Donald's eye also has some staining and there is a small 1/4" tear on the edge of the front cover. The rear cover has a large thumb nail size corner missing and a small 1/2" tear on it's edge as well. The interior pages are in great shape with no signs of marks, tears or other damage.This is a nice example of a rare and expensive piece of Disney history.
