RARE 1935 GULF Bennett Erie Tokheim Gas Pump Top Dome!

This listing is for a scarce original stainless steel dome top for a ca. 1935-38 Gulf gasoline pump. It was specified equipment on Gulf gas pumps by many different manufacturers, among them: Bennett, Tokheim and Erie. By 1938 Gulf had spec'd a less costly dome top for their pump standards. Even if you don't have the pump this goes on, your Gulf globe would look killer mounted on this top! It is in very nice shape, with a few minor dings and some scuffs. If you look at the first two photos you will note two small holes on the right hand corner in both photos. You should be able to get these fixed by any decent welding shop. If polished it would really be striking. This part has never been reproduced and likely won't ever be - it is pretty substantial, and its complex design would be too costly to recreate economically. Don't miss out, you won't find one for less in this nice condition, and it might be years before another one shows up on eBay. Please Insurance is at the buyer's expense, for actual cost.
