we have a 1935 Montgomery Ward Airline model 62-164, series B tombstone tube radio. The chassis is clean and has been checked out. It features new filter caps, new replacement caps for all old paper capacitors. The resistors have been checked and replaced if needed. It had no tubes and had already been recapped when I got it in on trade. I have not checked it out, per se, only to put tubes in a see if it worked, but the original owner stated that he restored it last year and it works great. He replaced the bottom case floor and put in a wonderful oak veneer. It looks great. The chassis and case are being sold as is as is my policy with all antique radios. Tubes not included in the sale. This cabinet has undergone a beautiful restoration about a year ago and is in wonderful condition and has been buffed and has a wonderful shine. The knobs are original. The dial perfect and quite unique. It features multi band with a superb airplane dial. The center has a globe surrounded by a ships wheel and outside of that, a ship on the high seas. Again, this dial is PERFECT ! Speaker cloth is superb as well. I am sorry for the shabby pictures. My digital camera just will not do that much of a close up. I will try again and post if I get some better ones. Includes a schematic from Riders, instructions and alignment stuff.I took this radio in on read more
