Item is a 1935 publication of the Occult Classic OAHSPE , subtitled "Kosmon Revelations In Thee Words of Jehovih And The Angel Embassadors", by John Ballou Newbrough. Newbrough called the book the New Bible. According to one web site book is a "A sacred history of the dominions of the higher and lower heavens on the Earth for the past 24,000 years, beginning with the submersion of the continent of Pan in the Pacific Ocean, commonly called the Flood or Deluge, to the Kosmon (present) Era. Also a brief history of the preceding 55,000 years, together with a cosmogony of the Universe, the creation of the planets; the creation of man; the unseen worlds; the labor and glory of gods and goddesses in the etherean heavens; with the new commandments of Jehovia to man of the present day." Newbrough claimed book was produced by Automatic Writing, in which his hands were mysteriously forced to write, on a very early typewriter, the Oahspe. Book is in very good condition. It was published by Kosmon Press of Los Angeles, California, and was printed from the Newbrough Plates of the 1891 Edition by Norwood Press. Dark blue cover with gilt title and symbol has corner and spine edge wear. Front end page has former owner's name on glued down book plate. Pages are clean and unmarked.
