1935 United States Peace Dollar Coin is 90% silver and in great condition. Minted in Philadelphia The Peace Dollar is a silver United States dollar coin minted from 1921 to 1928, then again in 1934 and 1935. The successor to the Morgan Dollar, the Peace Dollar contains 0.77344 troy ounces of silver, and is the last silver dollar minted for circulation in the United States. Anthony de Francisci's design featured his rendition of Lady Liberty on the obverse, based on his wife, Teresa. The Art Deco style font is exemplified by the inscription, "IN GOD WE TRVST," which uses the Latin angular "U". The coin's reverse, co-designed by Chief Engraver Morgan, features a Bald Eagle facing the sun's rays, and holding an olive branch above the word "PEACE", which gave the coin it's name. This coin looks stunningly beautiful and would appear to grade well. Pictures are of the actual coin, so check them out and judge for yourself!
