Offered for your consideration is this very nice Vintage Postal Telegraph Clock manufactured by Hammond Clock Company, circa 1935-1939 . The clock features a metal body with a outer glass covering the dial. It is an extremely large clock that measures approximately 20" diameter. The middle portion of the clock reads "POSTAL TELEGRAPH SYNCHRONOUS ELECTRIC TIME". Along the bottom edge it reads "MANUFACTURED IN U.S.A. FOR POSTAL TELEGRAPH BY HAMMOND CLOCK COMPANY SX15". The clock works wonderfully, and even appears to keep perfect time. This clock is in excellent condition and one of the nicest I have even seen. It appears to be all original and complete. The numbers and lettering are vividly colored. The body still retains its original finish and looks superb. The movement is the original synchronous electric movement and the cord is free of damage as well. The only defects to note are pitting to the chrome glass ring, some crazing to the interior dial from age and some paint over spray on the backside that could easily be cleaned off I am sure. A nice old advertising piece this clock would look amazing in any collection.
