This bid is for a 1935 D Washington quarter that appears to be a dazzling, brilliant, mint state coin. The detail and luster on this coin is outstanding. This one would make a great addition or upgrade to your collection and add some luster to those early dates. You will have to self-grade from the pictures. Note : This coin is part of a very large hoard that was put in Mason jars and hidden in the bottom of an old chimney circa 1950. They were discovered in demolition in 2003. Some of the jars broke during demolition. Some of these coins were washed with soapy water in 2003 and as late as December 2010 according to the former owners. This was done only to remove debris/dust from the demolition. I am not sure with ones were cleansed and which weren't. Just trying to keep it honest. Please email if you have any questions.
