1936D Arkansas Half Dollar Commemorative in a first generation PCGS "rattler" holder graded MS-63. I didn't knock myself out this time trying to get good pics as I learned a while back that it's almost impossible to get good shots of any coin encased in a slab. Many of the "Classic" Commemoratives have absurdly low mintages and this is one of them. Only 9,660 were minted!! Excellent luster (MUCH more than shows in the photos!) and great eye appeal highlight this SUPER tough issue and the coin has light to medium golden toning evenly distributed on both sides. A nice Choice BU, UNCLEANED, problem free example in a top of the line holder! This is really a GREAT time to purchase one of these low mintage rarities as the Commemorative market is currently quiet and in it's lowest state in many years. Well I can tell you from years of experience that when the market starts going, prices will rise DRAMATICALLY so don't wait!! If you want a real quality piece, it is and I guarantee it to please you! This coin was graded many years ago and with today's looser grading standards, who knows, this might re-slab a point higher! eBay does not permit me to quote any price guides prices so you'll have to look it up for yourself but don't forget that listed prices are for "raw" coins and this one is already certified and with P&I that costs approximately 25 bux per coin.
