Filled with 200+ pages of photographs selected by the intrepid Edward Steichen, this First Edition of U. S. Camera 1936 offers a vast selection of photographs depicting America as she was in the waning days of the Great Depression. Some of the other judges were Arnold Genthe and Lejaren A. Hiller; some of the photographers included are Edward Weston, Rockwell Kent and Alfred Eisenstaedt to name a few. Impressive. Condition notes: Good+. This quarto, measuring 11 ¾ inches by 9 inches, is bound in spiral bound wrappers. These are moderately worn. The text and many photos in this U. S. Camera 1936 are in very good condition.
