1936 Dated German Gas Mask Canister. Heavy duty pre-war model with all lugs, lens compartment and post war strap set. Dated on the extra lens cover 1936 with additional markings of EFG. No gas mask. Canister has the original aluminium liner and lugs. Might have been repainted but it has been awhile. light surface rust on the worn areas and looks to have about 90% paint left. All hardware functions well, buckles and hinges move freely. It has a few dents but imagaine the stories this thing could tell....Perfect for re-enactors! As a bonus I'm throwing in a few pesos for a bribe! The pesos are genuine Japanese Government 10 Peso Occupation Notes issued by the Japanese Government when they occupied the Philippines in World War II. They look similar too and are sized like dollars but have no serial numbers. I gatd a few of these while I was living in the Philippines.
