Thank you for looking!....... Please E-mail me with any questions you may have. In 1936 the Listerine Company gave these "Razor Blade B anks" away for free when you bought their shaving cream......"Blade Banks" were containers that could be filled with used blades and then discarded and became a common feature in the bathroom......Two of the "Blade BIanks" from Listerine were the Donkey from the Democratic Party and the Elephant from the Republican party.....I am sorry to say I do not have an elephant but I do have 2 donkeys...... They are 2 1/2 inch white ceramic figures.....They were produced by LaPere Pottery in Zanesville, Ohio....Issued in 1936 in honor of the National Election between Franklin Roosevelt and Alfred Landon, representing the Democratic and Republican respectively......T are no chips or cracks but t is crazing....They both have the origional stamp on the bottom... we are more than 70 years later and "Blade Banks" are still in demand...this time by collectors who savor these treasures...They are fun to collect and a manageable collection because they are nice and small....Many were thrown away years ago so they are not readily available.... I appreciate you taking the time to view my item and as always we have a 100% money back guarentee....Please add me to your favorites as I have some interesting old items read more
