AMAZING ORIGINAL SET - 1936-PDS Columbia, South Carolina Sesqui-Centennial Set of coins. Contains the P,D and S mint coins, with the original card of distribution, and a specially-made Capital Plastics holder that was used when the coins were not graded. All 3 of the coins were graded as MS-66 by NGC and confirmed for the grade by CAC. All 3 coins have original matching holder toning. The D mint coin has the center dot from being stored inside that Tab Toning holder. When do you still see sets like this, already graded, with their original coin holder? The "P" Mint coin reverse looks like a 67 at least! The P mint coin NGC holder is slightly chipped on one edge, but that doesn't detract for this gorgeous set. The coins are consecutively numbered by NGC. Overall, you would be hard pressed to find a nice and PERFECTLY MATCHED set with great toning and the original distribution holder and a neat presentation holder. The pictures of single coins are (in order )- "P" obverse and Reverse, then "D" obverse and reverse and finally "S" obverse and reverse. Keep them in the slabs or crack them out and save the inserts and store them in the Capital holder. Either way, a wonder set. Greysheet current bid without the Toning, without the Original Holder and without the NGC and CAC grading is $800.00! The Buy-It-Now Price is only $950.00! Buy
