This is a matt green die cast army tank which is in good/fairorder, its gun turret can turn a full 360 degrees and it’s chain linkcaterpillar tracks are affixed. On the gun turret there are two white triangles both facing towards the left side. The back panel has a similar triangle pointing towards the right side. Several doors and items of kit have been cast in the metal as well as headlights and the gun itself. Embossed on the base plate is DINKY TOYS MADE IN ENGLAND BY MECCANO LTD. /Dinky-151a-Medium-Tank/1656 This website identifies the model as being 151a Medium Tank which was produced from 1937-1941. It also mentions that pre-war models had white markings. The end of the right side running board at the rear of the vehicle has sheared off. There is some chipping to the paintwork under the skirt at the front, and parts of the back panel of the vehicle, as well as some lesser playwear paint damage to the top and side panels. (see photos). There is no box with this item. The tank measures approx. 3½” (9cm) long by 2” (5cm) wide by 2” (5cm) at its highest point.
