Welcome to my auction for this Gordon Crosbey leaping mascot maybe from a SS Model or any Jag to a MK V, complete with Radiator Cap. Rare and collectable piece of memorabilia, it dates from between 1937 and 1951. William Lyons detested the Desmo version thinking that it looked like a scalded Cat and hated it on his cars. He decided to have a competition to design an official mascot that he would fit to his Jaguar cars. This is the winning design by Gordon Crosby and so chosen by William Lyons to be the Official Jaguar Mascot. This example has a lovely original patina, measuring 8 inches from nose to the end of that long tail. She has all four teeth and sits on a pear shaped base. Postage will be first class royal mail & recorded. Please remember that you are bidding to buy so please feel free to ask any questions. They who bid may win, those that don’t miss out. Happy ebaying.
