We are offering a very beautiful silver medal from the United Kingdom, the 1937 British Award Medal Issued to Commemorate the Coronation of King George VI, Produced by Messrs John Pinches Ltd, obverse effigies by J. Langford Jones. This medal is 35.01 mm in diameter, made of silver (I had it tested and it has 96% silver content) with a total weight of .82 ounces or 23.2 grams. It is listed as number 4336, with a rarity of R, by Brown in "British Historical Medals 1760-1960, Volume 3." The medal has gorgeous clean toning bright silver color and wonderful sharp cameo detail.
