The DICK TRACY CARAMELS trading card set was issued in 1937 by the Walter H. Johnson Candy Co. of Chicago, Illinois, featuring the bright and extremely colorful artwork of Chester Gould. The set follows the adventures of Dick Tracy as he battles various criminals and villains. Dick Tracy Caramel cards are very scarce. A large hoard of cards numbered 121-144, which were discovered in the 1980s (all of which are in Mint condition and which many collectors have questions about regarding authenticity) sometimes gives collectors the incorrect impression that cards from this set are readily available. Our cards, ranging from episodes 26-120, are from the original set.
