Greetings from Scotty the Treasure Hunter! If you are new to my listings ... Welcome! If you have been following my listings then you know I have been selling these original photographic Railroad negatives for some time now. They are all a part of a very large collection I acquired at a local Train Show here in Connecticut. These negatives are all originals and come from various collections including the John A. Rehor Collection, the Robert Graham Estate, the Bob Lorenz Collection and more. Most of these original negatives were taken by some famous Railroad photographers such as Robert Graham, GM Best, Allan Youell to name a few. Many of the negatives are in envelopes that identify the subject, who took the photo, where it was taken, the date it was taken and some even tell us the time of day, the weather and the camera settings used along with the type of film and lens! Some are in blank envelopes that leave the identification up to us. I do my best to identify the negatives as best I can! This is a gorgeous photo! It is a 1937 original photographic negative of Southern Pacific 4-8-4 GS-3 Steam Locomotive number 4422 in an action shot pulling Train 99 in September of 1937. This Negative measures about 3 1/2 inches by 5 1/2 inches. The negative comes in a white paper envelope with a description of the photo. Very nice! For everyone, especially those who are new to my auctions: I am not an expert in this items field. I describe the item to the best of my abilities and try to take good pictures. Please feel free to email any questions including requests for additional pictures. I will do my best to help and provide you with what you need to bid. With that said, this item is sold as is with no warranties. I use 'Shipping Calculator' to determine the fairest and most accurate shipping cost. I have added, depending on item size and weight, $1.50-$3.50 to this shipping cost to cover packing material, labeling and labor. I ship around 50-100 items per week and my days of scrounging packing materials are over...I've scrounged everything I can and it's all gone!...so, I have to buy boxes, bubble wrap, packing peanuts, tape, labels and ink. From what I've seen elsewhere this is a very reasonable fee to ensure your item arrives safe and sound and intact! If you are bidding on more than 1 of my auctions and the auctions end within a week of each other, I will happily combine orders to save on shipping and handling costs. But please, CHECK SHIPPING COSTS before bidding. With all that said and done....most importantly......enjoy!!!Scotty1954
