This is a circa 1938 to 1941 Zippo military lighter. It appears that it is WW2. The front is nicely engraved with a palm tree and mountain range. The back shows a fancy engraving of the countries that this soldier or sailor was sent to. The locations are France, Panama, Hollandia, Luzon, and Honolulu. The bottom of the case shows that t was an emblem soldered on at one time. The 4 Barrel hinge has only a small amount of play. The case shows the Zippo 2032695 full stamp. T are no major scratches or dents. The original 14 Hole square corner insert is the seamless tube style, highly polished chrome with no logo or patent numbers. The large hump cam spring is very strong, wick is stiff and full, hollow flint wheel rivet, flint wheel has the horizontal grooved teeth, and the flint tube is open and has no obstructions.
