Very collectible 1938 reference book.TIMING - When to Buy and Sell in Today's Marketsby John DurandCovers timing of trading after the 1937 market collapse, at which time the author says the market was skidding down in the fastest depression of that time. He says in became clear that the 1933-1937 recovery cycle was the temporary creation of New Deal spending, and the market was not prepared to carry on when the Federal pump-priming ended. Very interesting book by an author of investment classics of that time! Stated second edition. This book is from a large number of estate stock market, investment, securities books of this time period that I just acquired from the estate of a trader of that era.Dark blue or black faux leather hardcover. Book has more of a semi-flexible faux leather cover than a real hardcover. Minor wear, text pages very good. A little age darkening on the blank endpapers, front and back.
